Welcome friends! Merry Meet. This page is part of a growing community that spans from one side of Kentucky to the other. A coming together of sorts. A place where information shall be posted for gatherings, festivals and events that I (Talamus) have direct knowledge of or participation in. A little about myself. I have been a practing witch for several years. I'm from Easteren Kentucky, but now live in La Grange, just north east of Louisville. I am associated with Oakthorn Green Farm in rual Menifee Co. and the Circle of the Blue Moon located in Shelbyville, Ky. Myself and fellow companions form a small troop of drummers. I play the Bongo's and Conga's. We have played at many gatherings thruoghout the region. Fellow members include: myself (Talamus), Bradwell, Thorn and Aylwyni. | Beltane April 30th thru May 2nd | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Its time for the celebrations to begin! Beltane is being held the last Friday of April, the 30th through Sunday May, 2nd. The festivities begin at 12 Noon on Friday. | Events include a communal feast, circle, Maypole, drumming and many other wounders to behold. A good time for all who is interested. There will be camping under the wounderful stars. A bale fire Saturday night to light the area for drumming , dancing and having a wounderful time. Its only 2 1/2 hours drive from Louisville, Ky and it's not that hard to find at all.
